Kira has been performing traditional Chinese folk dance with the Fairfax Chinese Dance Troupe since she was four years old, including choreography with ribbons, handkerchiefs, fans (traditional, metal, and ostrich), sleeves, drums, and umbrellas. She’s danced at the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap, the National Theater, the Smithsonian, and numerous other cultural showcases in the D.C area.

With over 20 years of Chinese dance, Kira has taught classes of children ages 6-12 for Wei Hwa Chinese school, college students, as well as workshops for seniors.
